After years of waiting for the right time to get Sagacity off the ground, we are finally in business.
I know, Sagacity got funded back in October 2020 on Kickstarter. We are very grateful to everyone that supported us during that process and bought games, but not being able to send those games to you made us feel like we were still in that holding pattern. We were scheduled to receive our order on December 4, 2020, but they got delayed. It wasn't until late Tuesday night, December 15, 2020, we received the first half of our shipment of Collectors Edition Black Games from our manufacture. We were so excited we quickly boxed them up and fulfilled all the orders we had on hand. On Wednesday morning, we dropped off the packages to our local UPS Store. As I walked out of the store it hit me, WE ARE FINALLY IN BUSINESS!
After years of watching my dad patiently waiting and struggling with set backs, it was great seeing the boxes of Sagacity Games as they filed into our distribution site, that was the moment it all felt real. We finally have a viable product in hand to share with others. WE ARE FINALLY IN BUSINESS!!!!!
We still have a long way to go to make Sagacity a complete success, but we are working hard to make it a classic, like Chess. My dad has always said that if he could get Sagacity into peoples hands, they would love playing the game as much as he does, and to us that is success!
(This is half a pallet, out of 3 pallets delivered. They sent it in a truck without a lift gate. We told them we needed a lift gate because we didn't have a forklift. We got some exercise.)
